Good to know

A few answers before you begin.

Can I add a timestamp to photos I already took?

Yes. Choose one or more JPG or PNG photos. Each photo uses its capture date when available; you can adjust the date and time for each photo before downloading.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Your photo is opened and edited in this browser. It is not sent to our server. We use Google Analytics to measure page visits and basic tool events, but never send your image, filename or EXIF data.

Does this change the photo's EXIF date?

No. This tool adds visible text to the image pixels. It does not edit EXIF metadata. The downloaded copy is redrawn, so its original EXIF and other metadata won't be kept.

Which image formats can I use?

Select up to 20 JPG, JPEG or PNG photos, up to 25 MB each and 100 MB total. Download one photo or save a batch as a ZIP.

How do I add a timestamp to photos already taken?

Choose one or more photos above. Each photo starts with its capture date when available; you can adjust its date and time as you preview it. Style settings apply to the full batch.
